Lines attached to pilings and docks
UNDOCKING
Touch rope ring to yellow magnetic tip of the Line Shark. Use the Line-Shark to place the line on a piling of dock. Place it where it can easily be touched with the magnetic yellow tip when returning.
BLUE SHARK
Pull back on the rear tube to release the Line-Shark rope ring and line.
DOCKING
Reach out with the Line-Shark and place the yellow magnetic tip near the rope mounted rope ring, the ring and line will jump to the tip. Simply pull off dock line.
TRAVEL LINES
DOCKING
Touch the rope ring (with mooring line) to yellow magnetic tip of the LineShark. Use the Line Shark to reach out and place the loop around the piling or cleat. Lines without a loop can be wrapped a few times around the cleat. Pull back on the rear tube to release the Line-Shark rope ring and line or simply pull back quickly to release.
When safely docked secure the lines firmly to dock.
ROPE RINGS
- Firmly wrap the hook and loop strap around the dock line about 1 1/2 turns (fuzzy side away from line)
- Hold one of the Line-Shark rings next to the strap and continue to wrap the hook and loop strap around the line pushing through the ring each turn. Be sure to leave the ring loose to move back and fourth in the strap
HOW TO USE IT
UNDOCKING:
- Attach the rope ring (with mooring line) to the yellow magnetic tip of the Line Shark Boat Hook.
- Use the boat hook to place the rope on a piling hook or the dock.
- Pull back on the rear grip/slide tube to release the Line-Shark Rope Ring and the attached line from the magnet
DOCKING:
- Reach out with the Line Shark Boat Hook and touch the yellow magnet tip to the rope ring then pull the line on-board.
- Pull back on the rear grip to release the Line-Shark Rope Ring or manually pull the ring from the magnet.
DOCKING:
- Attach the rope ring (with mooring line) to the yellow magnetic tip of the Line-Shark Boat Hook.
- Reach out and loop the rope around a piling or cleat (red and white) or wrap the rope around a cleat (blue).
- Pull back on the boat hook to release the Line-Shark Rope Ring and the attached line.
- When safely docked secure your lines firmly to the dock and your boat
